Knowing I will never again discover such well preserved historical artwork, I took the time for a closeup to submit to the Smithsonia or wherever one would submit such things. Actually, I just needed more time to rest before I was able to continue on. I knew I was lost, but my first thought was that there was no way I could make it back the way I had come because I was exhausted.
When I continued on, maybe another mile or so I came to this outcropping of rock. It was at this point that the road disappeared. It was also at this point that I dropped the bike again. Unfortunately, the DR 650 is a very tall and not light weight bike. It was pretty hard to get upright again after the drop, but this time I was really exhausted and it seemed much harder than the first time.
As you can see, I am back to Lake Pleasant after having dropped the bike a third time. It was funny as I was trying to remember back to when I was a kid riding the dirt all of the time. As I recalled, I never had an issue righting the bike when I dropped it. Then the light went on, It was just a trail 90. I think I still might be able to handle one of them.
